I’m not sure if the shocks in this Uber I’m in are shot or what, but this ride is so bumpy that my phone has twice asked if I want to undo my last action. Lol.

Just finished scrolling through my FaceBook timeline without seeing even one mention of accessibility and this has me feeling great! I can’t help wondering though just how burned out I really am. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and I love the field I’m in, but for me, accessibility is such a large part of my life. I don’t get to stop doing it or thinking about it or being affected by it. Generally speaking, I can’t unplug from it or take a vacation from it and sometimes, that’s just crushingly overwhelming.

I love trying foods from other natienalities, but I always forget what I like and what I don’t like. Anyone else struggle with this? There should be an app for that, maybe I should take better food review notes somewhere.

I’m so proud that my daughter, Gabby, is continuing to do this, please consider donating as it makes a real difference. | Gabby’s Gifts, 2019 https://www.gofundme.com/f/gabby039s-gifts-2019?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet #GivingTuesday

So, has anyone found any great Cyber Monday deals they’re excited about? I’m not looking for anything in particular, just curious what people may have found.
-
So today, I’m trying to familiarize myself with GitHub beyond just logging issues. This is actually more fun and interesting than I thought. If anyone has any accessibility tips/tricks, I’m definitely interested.

Mac users, is there an easy way to share the title of a web page with its link, similar to how it would be shared on iOS, with 3RD party apps? Copying the link doesn’t give me title or preview, many 3RD party apps don’t show up as a sharing option.
-
I’m writing an article on the subject, but as a blind guy, I’m getting really really tired of people speaking for me. If you do accessibility or UX and really want to know what I want, or “need”, or what works best for me, then ask me.

Having just gone through my Emails, I find it amazing how much Email I actually get and how little I actually need.

There is nothing quite like writing a lengthy post to Support only to find that the issue was user error all along. Had I not tried to write such a detailed post, I probably would not have figured it out. Yay for self-discovery and for realizing my mistake before hitting send and feeling stupid. :)

Still reading, but absolutely loving these tutorials from @custom. How to customise Micro.Blog

I’ve been to Maryland a few times, but I’ve never had any of their famous crab. Since I’m at the airport, I figured I would change that. :-)

DRIVER is telling me that he prefers driving for Lyft because Lyft discloses where the passenger is going before the pickup, Uber apparently does not. I always love getting the driver’s perspective. :)

It’s not even 7 AM yet and I’ve already gotten trapped in a hotel bathroom, warped door, and spilled a bottle of water … directly into my shoe. Oh the probabilities. :) #winning

Meeting a racecar driver, you just never know who might be sitting next to on a flight.
I love flying, I never know who I might be sitting next to. Sometimes people don’t want to talk, but occasionally, I run into just the opposite. Today’s person is a racecar driver, so I had the opportunity to learn things about racing that I never knew. I recorded part of this and with his permission, am sharing it with all of you. And to think I was just planning to read a book. :)

Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). Wow, will this really let me post to FaceBook? I am incredulous.
-
At the airport, flight delayed over an hour and now they tell us they just need to reboot the computer. Not sure which tech support they called, but isn’t a reboot normally the first thing tech support tells us to try? :)

For anyone curious about the practice of Daylight Saving time and why many countries observe it, a brief history can be found here: https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/03/us/daylight-saving-time-history-trnd/index.html?utm_source=twCNN&utm_content=2019-11-04T00%3A44%3A06&utm_medium=social&utm_term=link

Has anyone tried the @AfterShokz Aeropex? Wondering how they sound in loud environments. This review has me definitely intrigued: www.forbes.com/sites/bra…

I am mistaken, Daylight Savings time is not starting, it’s actually ending. So confusing, I’m just gonna focus on that extra hour of sleep as clearly I need it. :)
