Well, I can already see the writing on the wall: monthly pricing for application use. I certainly don’t mind paying monthly for a service i enjoy, but unless I’m reading this wrong, the $3.99 charge will be billed through A T&T. My concern is that this opens the door for A T&T to charge monthly for the right to use a specific application. And if I’m right, something I fervently hope I’m not, we could soon see special monthly packages i.e. $9.95 for five apps, $29.95/unlimited apps, etc… I mean, why not?
